Loma NTC Park at Liberty Station on Saturday August 7th from 9am-7pm. “It’s A Green Day Festival” promises to be inspiring, educational and FUN for the whole San Diego community. The festival will be jammin’ with reggae and blues tunes provided by East of Echo and Subliminal Trip. All Green Electronic Recycling will be providing a FREE E-Waste Drop-Off. CSI West will be sponsoring the electrical energy that will power the stage by utilizing clean solar energy. Paul Mitchell Salons/Schools will be offering free hairstyling. For those that love to shop, there will be numerous products to make your lifestyle more eco-friendly. Visitors will also delight in a chic Eco Fashion Show, raffles, exhibitors, educational workshops, speakers, and children’s activities presented by Nature of Art- including mural painting, and an Eco Parade.
The opening ceremonies will begin at 9am with the San Diego Sea Cadets Corps, Challenger Division delivering a Color Guard in observance of Veterans, current servicemen and servicewomen who received the “Purple Heart Medal”. The Purple Heart is presented to those who have been wounded or killed while serving with the U.S. military. August 7th is the day to observe these servicemen and servicewomen.
The celebration of the environment, animals, healthy living, community and social consciousness is the key in being GREEN. The combination of empowering speakers, socially conscious exhibitors, delicious organic and healthy food and great music will make for an earth-friendly experience that is thought-provoking, inspiring and enjoyable for all.

This will have a serious positive impact on air quality and help provide sustainability for our planet.
